HOW TO AVOID GIVING YOUR MONEY TO BILLIONAIRES AT THE SUPERMARKET
AND WHICH ARE THE INDEPENDENTS THAT DESERVE YOUR DOUGH?

I surveyed the websites of the three largest supermarket chains in the USA which carry a wide assortment of brands: Walmart, Target and Kroger (owner of Ralph's) for products in 59 categories, between October 2025-March 2026. (I did not survey smaller chains or Costco, Trader Joe's or Aldi because their product range is often limited to less brand choices. The fact that the three most-shopped-at chains are all billionaires could not be avoided because my goal with this survey was to show which brands are Billionaires and which ones are smaller and independent of the big guys.)
I did not include tobacco, wine and liquor as these are addictive, and fresh fruit and vegetables and meat as most stores carry one brand of each.
I have listed the products of the Billionaire Brands, then listed the store brands and then the independent brands.
I have not researched the political viewpoints of the owners of the independent brands. I merely offer this list to help you avoid the big corporate brands.
